The Panthers second away game of the season brought them to a large very wide pitch giving them plenty of opportunities to play good passing football. This is just the way the game started off, both sides making good us of the width playing end to end football. The first half was very open with Aky and Jamie making good runs Nathan holding the ball up well and Darren and Ryan winning the ball in midfield.Chances were coming at both ends Darren Jamie and Nathan all got good shots in,bringing saves from Easingtons keeper .Their two best chances both came from corners ,the first corner came from some good work by Darren the resulting corner taken by Aky was only cleared to Nathan whos shot was just over the bar.The second from a Jaffa corner ,Nathan getting his head to it and the ball came to Aky ,whos screaming shot just flew over the bar.Easington had good chances aswell Matty making a couple of saves ,Lewis and Josh holding the centre of defence well and JC and Jaffa getting upfield at every oppoortunity.

HT 0-0

The second half started in a similar way both sides playing good football.Sub AD for LT . As the second half went on however the Panthers started to believe in themselves with a confidence that had been missing because of past results.Nathan continued to hold the ball up well waiting for more support Aky Jamie and Darren all getting in decent shots .The Panthers started to pressure Easingtons defence with Jaffa now pushed up to help Nathan.Easingtons keeper had to make two good saves from Aky and Nathan. On 30 mins against the run of play Easington went ahead from a free kick played over the defence caught out trying to play offside 1-0.Sub jmc for DG.For the last 15 mins the panthers never gave up but the ball just never seemed to go their way.
