Felling Magpies 3 V 1 SAFC Foundation Pumas

After last weeks rout we were keen to stop the slide in our form and some of our missing squad had returned. We started well, controlling the midfield showing good movement and possession but we were unable to find the net and despite our dominance went in all square at half time.

The Pumas started the second half well but Felling scored a shock goal against the run of play. We feared the lads heads dropping but they dug in and a Johnny Hall pass provided Matty with an equaliser after that we thought that we could go on and win the match but despite superior possession it was Felling who regained the lead and the Pumas just couldn't find a cutting edge and Felling were able to extend their lead just before the final whistle. It was a disappointing result but an encouraging performance.
