Coxhoe United 5 V 1 SAFC Foundation Pumas

 As is traditional the Pumas were handed a cup tie against a team much higher in the league than ourselves. But it was the Pumas who started brightest giving Coxhoe a shock with our passing and movement and it was the Pumas who opened the scoring with Johnny Brown scoring from Nathan's well delivered corner. The Pumas continued to dominate creating a hatful of chances but failing to find the net. Coxhoe rallied and started to dominate eventually scoring from a badly cleared corner. With all even at half time we still were in with a chance but Coxhoe came out in the second half all guns blazing and it took all the Pumas grit and determination to contain them and it took Coxhoe twenty minutes to get their second goal. This seemed to take the steam out of the Pumas and ten minutes later Coxhoe scored again. At this point the Pumas seemed to give up and quickly concede two goals leaving the final score 5 - 1.
